July 3rd and 4th

July 3rd

July 3rd Rigby does fireworks over the lake, we went last year and didn't go all the way into the lake because it was so crowded so this year we went to the same spot as last year. We could have pulled up as the fireworks started and still had the spots we had, there was hardly anyone there. We went on the 3rd to prep Kynslee...we weren't sure how she would handle the loud booms. We were far enough away where she could see them but they weren't as loud.

Killing time before the fireworks start...

The fireworks got her attention and she watched them to the end!

This is the back of her head with the firework going off.

July 4th

July 4th we dressed Kynslee up all patriotic and we spent the morning at home, sleeping in! Then we had a barbecue over at Ben's parents, went home and put Kynslee down for a late nap and headed out to watch the Idaho Falls fireworks, which we have done with Curtis (my brother) and his family for 3 years now! We ate and ate and ate and hung out talking and enjoyed the nice weather and waited for the fireworks to begin! It was our family, Ben's parents, my neighbors the Wells, Curtis and his family, Curtis's in-laws, Rachel's (sister-in-law) brother's family, and Rachel's sister with her daughter....we had a nice big group with lots of kids and lots of entertainment! The fireworks were awesome and we had a blast hanging out with everyone!

Her 4th of July outfit!

Notice the tongue

Again, notice the tongue!

Experiencing sparklers for the first time!

Getting tired

You gotta love the hair when it comes out of a pony tail!

The fireworks begin...

She did so awesome and enjoyed being around other kids and being outside! We are excited to celebrate more holidays as she gets older and knows more of what is going on!

Happy 4th of July!

The time has finally come...

When Ben and I moved into our house the previous owners had hung many big things on their walls...TV's, weird decorations, stuff like that and when we bought the house one of our requirements was that they fill all the holes in. When we got the keys and walked into our first home the house was disgusting and pretty much all of our walls looked like this...

But thanks to Ben's brother giving us some paint we are FINALLY able to fix those ugly markings and it only took us 2 years to do it...the past few days we have been painting MANIACS!!

Random Stuff...

I know it's been over week but things have been just random and crazy and Kynslee just keeps growing!! I can't believe in 3 months she will be 1...it has gone by way too fast. So This is just stuff that is happening or that I took pictures of but haven't posted.

Kynslee is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth! One day I was changing a messy diaper and there is a small green rectangular block in her diaper...where it came from I have no idea but she ate it! She wants most everything she can't have...cell phones, cameras, keys...those are what she wants!

Her hair is growing and I love it...I either do a pony tail or pigtails in her hair...she has some fun bed head in the mornings!

I went to some garage sales and found these with some flowers...I am still working on the flowers and what to do with them but I got these dragon flys as well and every night I sing to Kynslee and she points up to them and I push them so they swing and she smiles SO big!

Another edition to her room are these sticker flowers that I got at the dollar tree...the whole set for a buck!! I love it!
Close up of the flowers
One night I go to check on Kynslee before going to bed and I see this...

I have no idea how long she had been sleeping like this but I took the pictures went and put the camera away and came back in and she had moved.
Some other random sleeping positions we find her in...
Good thing she doesn't share a bed with anyone she is on crazy sleeper!
These were my glasses from like 5th grade and what can I say it was just a cute shot!

Discoveries: clapping, da da, ma ma, reaching out will get her held, everything goes in her mouth,
Firsts: really bad bum rash, saying Da da and Ma ma, having crazy bed head, walk while pushing her walker on her own, clapping, hugs, head butts, pig tails, knows what it means when I say "I'm gonna get you" she takes off crawling (hilarious)

The famous bear shots

Finally with the help from Ben we were able to get her legs straight

Attempt #1

Attempt #2...no attempt #3 because batteries went dead

Crazy Bed head!!

I can't believe she is 9 months! It is going by so fast and we L-O-V-E having her around and can't wait for her to learn and discover more!

Bed Head and an Ouchy!

If you look under Kynslee's left eye (right eye looking at the picture) she has a scratch...I changed her diaper last night, put her in the computer room, threw the diaper away and washed my hands and came back and she was playing but had this under her eye...I have NO idea what she did or how she did it but she has a nice scratch there...you'll see it in the other pictures.

Kynslee woke up from her nap and this was her hair!!

I know they are pretty much the same picture but they were all so dang cute I couldn't decide...I would hold the camera up and I would say "cheese" and she would grin at me like she knew what I was saying to her and the last few are her reaction to it...hee hee she is just too cute!!

Birthday Par-TAY!!

We had a barbecue over at Ben's parents house to celebrate Ben's 29th birthday! We set up about 3:30 (party at 6:30) and then moved the chairs inside because it rained. We got so lucky because we had a nice hour gap before the weather changed again and rained. I put up birthday signs and streamers and got some candles for his birthday cake and we enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

I was taking the streamers down and put Kynslee on the table and she could have cared less about them...when I thought she would have loved to play with them

Close up! Love those cheeks!!

I told Ben to come over and take a picture with his sign and streamers...

Take 1

Take 2...

Take 3...

and finally a smile!
Speaking of smiles...look at those teeth!

I made a shirt for Kynslee to wear to see Ben at work...it says
"Today is my Dad's 29th birthday and he ROCKS!"
I then found an anthem guitar and logo and put that on the shirt as well. We took Ben lunch at work and hi co-worker took a picture of her

Here is the picture...hee hee We just love her A LOT!!
